The Company was founded based on the invention of Han Nee of a thin film, reflective and corrosive resistant material used by the Optical Disc industry to make pre-recorded and recordable discs. TTC's material is used by most of the worldwide disc makers.
In addition, TTC has done multiple research and development projects in the areas of single crystal diamond growing and hydrogen in metals. In the case of the latter project, two papers have been published in peer-reviewed journals and a presentation was given based on this work at the ICCF-21 Conference in Fort Collins Colorado in June 2018.
